Deborah has spent many years as a chef in her native Cornwall as well as a 4 year stint working in New Zealand. We are very happy Deborah has joined the team at Go Ski Meribel this winter and we are certain she will be a great chef for Chalet Lagopede and an asset to the team.
CHALET LA PETITE CHAPELLE
Liam Metelko (AKA Boris, you will see why he is known as Boris within 5 minutes of meeting him). He joins the team this winter with over 12 years experience as a chef, having spent the last 6 winters as a chalet chef here in Meribel. In the summertime Boris runs his own successful catering business predominantly based in the South of France, working in villas, yachts and private chalets. When he is not cooking, he can be found teaching scuba diving usually in the beautiful Thai islands. We look forward to welcoming him to Team GSM this winter as your chef at Chalet La Petite Chapelle.
CHALET MAGIC ROCK
Ro is your chef at Chalet Magic Rock, having worked for Go Ski Meribel last winter as chef at Chalet Lagopede. This is her 6th winter season in the 3 Valleys, having previously worked in St Martin de Belleville.
Ro sold her loch-side Scottish Inn and restaurant back in 2012, bought an American RV and decided to take a "mid-life gap year" touring France. She arrived in the 3 valleys for our first season, and have never left. She is a traditional chef, though loves to experiment with flavours, so France has opened up a wealth of new culinary experiences for her, some of which she hopes to share with you at Chalet Lagopede. Ro and her hosts look forward to welcoming you - but beware you may not want to leave!

Our team of trained, experienced drivers are here for you from the very start of your holiday. Whether it’s a lift to the ski hire shop to get you kitted out or an all-important first day at ski school, they’ll have you covered.
We know that even the shortest walk can be a struggle in ski boots (especially when you end up carrying the kids’ skis too!) so our team of happy, friendly drivers are available both mornings and evenings everyday of your holiday. After you’ve finished your delicious breakfast and you are ready to hit the slopes, your driver will be waiting at your chalet to collect you and help with all your skis, poles and boards. They’ll make sure you get to ski school on time and to also get those all-important first lifts. Our drivers are friendly and caring and are often full of good stories they’ll share with you on the way to the lifts!
At the end of a long day on the mountain our drivers will be waiting to collect you from 4pm to take you straight back to the chalet so you can rest those legs with a hot drink by the fire. Fancy continuing your adrenaline-filled day on the slopes and sampling the infamous Alpine Aprés ski? No problem. Our drivers are around until 7pm everyday so you can hop in and we’ll take you straight back to your chalet door in time for dinner.
Mathew Wiggett – As founder of the company I oversee all operations in Meribel, living in Meribel throughout the winter I am very much hands on. However, with a great team working for Go Ski Meribel I can rely on them to provide the knowledge and expertise to our clients each and every week of the season. I am always available should there be any issues that cannot be resolved by the team and for some social skiing and perhaps the odd glass of wine too.
