TEAM GSM 2025 - 2026

CHEFS

We have our 3 fabulous chefs all returning again this winter.

CHALET EVEREST

We’re thrilled to welcome Mindaugas back to Go Ski Meribel for his 5th consecutive winter season.

Minda first joined us in January 2022 at Chalet Magic Rock, where he immediately impressed both guests and the team with his exceptional culinary skills, creative flair, and passion for food. His dishes are consistently high quality, beautifully presented, and full of flavour—earning him a well-deserved reputation as a guest favourite.

Outside the kitchen, Minda is an avid snowboarder, making the most of every opportunity to enjoy the mountains.

We’re extremely pleased to have him back with us again this winter and can’t wait to see what he creates for our guests this season.

CHALET LAGOPEDE

Deborah has been the heart and soul of the kitchen at Chalet Lagopede since the winter of 2016/17, and we’re proud to say she’s returned every season since. The upcoming winter will mark her 10th year with Go Ski Meribel.

With over 35 years of experience in professional kitchens, Deborah brings a wealth of culinary expertise to the chalet. Her impressive career spans from serving as Head Dinner Lady at a large college in the South-West of England, to leading roles in corporate restaurant kitchens, and even running her own restaurant during a five-year stint in New Zealand.

In the off-season, Deborah continues her passion for food back home in Cornwall, where she runs the family catering business specialising in weddings and garden parties. Her food is not only delicious but full of personality—reflecting her warmth, professionalism, and love of cooking.

CHALET MERU

We’re absolutely delighted to welcome Vilte back to Chalet Meru for her 4th consecutive winter season with Go Ski Meribel.

Vilte holds a diploma in Professional Cookery and began her culinary journey with an apprenticeship at the prestigious 2 Michelin-starred Ledbury in London. She went on to hone her skills at the acclaimed Harwood Arms in Fulham before returning to her native Lithuania in 2019.

Since then, she’s worked in a number of top restaurants in Vilnius and Nida, including a recent role as Head Chef at Fisheria in Nida during Summer 2022.

Her creativity, precision, and passion for food have made her a firm favourite with our guests, and we couldn’t be more excited to have her back as part of the GSM team for another unforgettable winter.

Our team of trained, experienced drivers are here for you, the in-resort service is available Monday to Saturday inclusive to and from the slopes, they’ll have you covered

We know that even the shortest walk can be a struggle in ski boots (especially when you end up carrying the kids’ skis too!) so our team of happy, friendly drivers are available both mornings and evenings everyday of your holiday. After you’ve finished your delicious breakfast and you are ready to hit the slopes, your driver will be waiting at your chalet to collect you and help with all your skis, poles and boards. They’ll make sure you get to ski school on time and to also get those all-important first lifts. Our drivers are friendly and caring and are often full of good stories they’ll share with you on the way to the lifts!

At the end of a long day on the mountain our drivers will be waiting to collect you from 15h30 each evening to take you straight back to the chalet so you can rest those legs with a hot drink by the fire. Fancy continuing your adrenaline-filled day on the slopes and sampling the infamous Alpine Aprés ski? No problem. Our drivers are around until 19h00 everyday so you can hop in and we’ll take you straight back to your chalet door in time for dinner.

Mathew Wiggett – As founder of the company, I oversee all operations in Meribel, as well as all bookings and pre-holiday enquiries.

I have lived in the area for many years now so I know the resort and the ski area very well, I will always be on hand to answer any questions you may have and to help out as and where help is needed.

I am very much hands on boss. However, with a great team working for Go Ski Meribel I can rely on them to provide the knowledge and expertise to our clients each and every week of the season. I am always available should there be any issues that cannot be resolved by the team and for some social skiing and perhaps the odd glass of wine at apres too!
