For peak weeks such as New Year, Christmas and February half term we strongly recommend you book well in advance to avoid disappointment, the low season weeks, again we would advise booking ahead, and however it is usually possible to book on arrival in resort, although places cannot be guaranteed. Good tuition is the key to developing any sport, the same goes with skiing or snowboarding too, just because you did a beginner course years ago, that doesn’t mean there isn’t scope for improvement, fortunately Meribel has a fantastic selection of ski schools, some British run, some Anglo French and many others, a plethora of choice for any level. If you need a Russian or Hebrew speaking instructor, no problem leave it to us we will find the perfect instructor for you.
From beginner lessons, developing your existing skills and progressing from reds to blacks, to moguls and off piste clinics or taking a mountain guide for the day to explore the back country and even heli-skiing we can arrange it all on your behalf.

Oxygene Ski School have a superb reputation for offering a personalised approach to ski and snowboard lessons in small friendly groups. They specialise in group ski lessons taught in English as well as private tuition for both adults and children. They are renowned for their fantastic children’s lessons with innovative activities to help kids get the most out of their time on the slopes.
Beginners are particularly well catered for in the “Magic Garden”, a fun enclosed area with special equipment, exclusive to Oxygène. Oxygene instructors are also available for adult groups, private lessons, off-piste guiding and snowboarding.

Snow D’Light is a British run ski school founded in Courchevel in 2001. A professional & experienced team of fully qualified English, Russian, French, Spanish, Dutch, Italian and Portugese speaking instructors. They offer beginner to advanced level 3 hour morning group courses for adults & children in small classes. Private lessons are offered in ski, snowboard, télémark and ski touring and lessons are for up to 8 people with no additional charges.
