Travel & Airport Transfers

As an independent accommodation provider, we do not offer flights or airport transfers as part of our chalet holidays, therefore this gives you the flexibility of choosing to travel at a time that suits you and from a local airport of your choice. Set out below is the relevant information you need in and various options for travel to and from Meribel.

Flights – Meribel is served by 4 local airports, the nearest Chambery is around 90 minutes’ drive from Meribel. Geneva, Lyon and Grenoble are all around 2 to 2.5 hours by road. For the cheapest flight options check out the flight comparison website; www.skyscanner.net.

Road – Travelling by car to Meribel is quite popular particularly during the peak school holiday weeks when the flights tend to be at their highest prices. Meribel is around 950 KM from Calais, all but the last 15km is motorway driving. The French motorways operate on a toll system, toll charges are approximately €85 in each direction. Drive time from Calais to Meribel is around 9 hours allowing for a couple of comfort breaks en-route. All our chalets are listed in Google maps making navigating right to the door very simple.

Train – The train service from Paris to Moutiers takes approx. 5 hours and costs from as little as €75 each way. There are direct overnight Eurostar services direct from London St Pancras.
